Ah December, how did you get here so fast? Only 2.5 weeks left in 2023!
Many wonder how off season life is here in the Hamptons. Life indeed, dials back quite a bit with a very different vibe, one that is welcomed & enjoyed for its much slower pace. Fall & Winter here offers a toned down retreat from the stress of our busy season. Scattered throughout the off season are some great opportunities to connect with neighbors & friends while enjoying long walks, day trips, the vineyards, the restaurants and inns that host interesting, engaging events for locals. Aside from summer, there are street fairs, lectures, plays, concerts, indoor farmer's market and holiday events that make the area "home". If you haven't had the chance to discover the winter beaches, you owe it to yourself to experience the changed beach front. You will wonder if our beloved beaches will return in time for summer!
We are only 6 months away from Summer 2024. The rental market is remarkably improved from last year with many homes already rented. Do NOT delay your summer plans. Sales inventory remains quite low, keeping pricing pretty steady, albeit corrected since Covid. Nearly 80% of our business is based on referrals, thanks to you! Banks are working hard at creating products to lower rates for clients. Consider Interest Only loans or ARM's to aid in your being actionable. We are happy to connect you with those folks who can best assist you.
