Happy June! A busy month for all with holidays, graduations and the transition to summer which thankfully seems to have started to settle in comfortably. Congratulations to all the graudates and to the parent's who guided them to where they are. Job well done! And of course, wishing all Dads, a most glorious Father's Day.
Summer is truly a state of mind that touches on all senses. Try disconnecting and take in all the sounds, smells and sights of this beautiful area that surrounds us daily.
There is nothing like being in the Hamptons for the BBQ's, the beach bashes, the art shows, night life, the tennis, golf, pickleball, paddle boarding, the ocean, the glorious sunsets and the lazy days of summer! Treat yourself to a walk on any of the Town beaches, (more on this below) do some bird watching or check out the nature trail at QWL or the Evelyn Alexander Wildlife Center. Talking Real Estate, many folks ask how the market is doing, so I am happy to share. We see an increase in inventory with homes averaging about 30 days on market, give or take a week or two depending on price. An increase in # of units sold is notable in this quarter as compared to last. While foot traffic is light this month, we anticipate some activity as Summer really kicks in.

The nation’s first Father’s Day was celebrated on June 19, 1910, in the state of Washington. However, it was not until 1972—58 years after President Woodrow Wilson made Mother’s Day official—that the day honoring fathers became a nationwide holiday in the United States.
