In case you are wondering, this month's photo was taken right here in Westhampton. It is the very beautiful Beaver Lake off Montauk Highway in Westhampton. One doesn't have to travel upstate to appreciate the beautiful change in foliage that is often right in our own backyard.
With rising mortgage rates becoming a conversational piece, you might want to preview this great Bloomberg interview with our very insightful CEO, Robert Reffkin. A good, point on, quick watch here.
Inventory is making its way to the market here. Some good finds for those who recognize the importance of acting while the opportunity presents. Hard to tell what the rates will do in the coming months. There is speculation of them rising again before year's end. While they may eventually come back down, no one really knows. Moreover, what may come to market today, may not be there when rates (and more importantly, if), actually lower. " Marry the house, date the rate"
The rental market is already busy, giving a glimpse into the upcoming season being a good one. Be sure to reach out sooner than later. Don't be deceived by last year's slower market. We have already completed several '24 rentals.
As always, we hope to see you Around & About. Of course, feel free to reach out; we would love to hear from you.
Enjoy this most beautiful season.
