Happy Autumn!
To all who were affected by Milton in Florida, our thoughts and prayers are with you. Hoping you and yours have weathered through and are safe and sound above the destruction Milton brought.
~
For anyone who knows me, the Fall is my absolute favorite time of the year; rich in color, smell, sounds and crispness which reminds me just how truly wonderful life is!
I recently had lunch with my tennis buddies, all of whom were delayed heading to FLA (due to the devastation of Milton). It was fascinating to hear the group comment on how the "vibe" here in the Hamptons is so different, post season. The general consensus noted of this new experience (for them) was how calm, quiet, relaxed and inviting the Village was. Quite the change from bustling Summer.
Those who live here year round, enjoy this calmer season, still robust in various Fall events, concerts, October-fests, and more. You don't need to go far to see this "tree city" illuminate our days with vibrant colors that mesmerize. Day trippers from everywhere love the harvest season of the vineyards, the Fall festivals, outdoor music events, apple picking and other fun festive events. If you haven't ventured here for a day or two on the weekends, do put it on your bucket list. Check in on local happenings in my email signature and newsletters.
The market seems to have returned to what was the norm here in years before Covid. Sales activity was busy in Fall, Winter and Spring while Summer was almost reserved just for enjoyment before folks started their home searches again. With recent rate drops, the RE market has seen some welcomed activity. Rentals are also already being secured for 2025. We are always here to guide you through the process, whichever that may be.
As always, we look forward to seeing you Around & About this glorious place we call home! May you enjoy a glorious Fall season.
Maria and Team
