Happy September!
I hope this finds you all well after enjoying a glorious summer season.
No complaints on the weather, at least that is what I heard. Plenty of beach days gratifying those who were lucky enough to join the salt life here in the Hamptons. I will say that the Fall is really my favorite time with an abundance of color and activity. No longer do we see what was dubbed "Tumbleweed Tuesday" the day after Labor Day. The Fall continues to be a season full of vineyard tours, apple picking, pumpkin events and more. It is a glorious time to be out here and I do hope to see you enjoying our beloved area.
The real estate market, while still busy, seemed to hold true to what I projected back in June: a time when summer months were quiet and the activity picked up again at the end of summer season. That is what we are starting to see out here, especially now that rates and prices are dropping and new inventory is indeed coming to market.
The summer was quiet slow on foot traffic relating to open houses and lacked lustre with showings as buyers traveled and enjoyed the season. Higher priced homes seemed more affected by inactivity. The rental market also lagged for a 2nd year in a row now, causing many to do those much needed updates (which may have fallen by the wayside) to stand out above the ever increasing inventory of rentals available.
Building is noticable nearly on every corner, lately, whether it is renovation or new construction. Speaking of building, there is plenty of it going on in the condo department and quite visible around and about the Village. Let's connect if you have interest in any of the new complexes that are on the horizon.
The Cunneen Team continues to be your resource on all things happening in the Hamptons. Wishing you and yours a wonderful Fall season.
As always, we look forward to seeing you Around & About!

Just after Labor Day, I hosted 28 Compass agents from all over the Country to discover The Hamptons. For 4 glorious days, my fellow colleagues explored all areas of the Hamptons from Greenport to Montauk to Sag and more. Many had never experienced life in the Hamptons and were only too happy to have experienced what we all love. My Compass family came from California, Texas, Miami, Boca, Philly, Massachusetts, New Jersey, NYC, Westchestser, Palm Beach, CT, Scarsdale, just to name a few! These carefully curated colleagues are an incredible resource not just for me but for all of you, my clients, as real estate happens throughout the country.
My partnership with these incredible brokers has you covered, everywhere and only a phone call away.

The apples are plentiful! One of my favorite things to do is plan a day to explore the No Fo with apple picking, harvest fests and more. Check out just one of the many sites to explore.
