Suffolk County suffered a cyber attack in September. As a result, their websites and emails have been taken offline.  This attack could affect real estate transactions, court dates, etc.  Title companies may be unable to conduct searches and complete title reports thus affecting closings. The County has hired multiple cybersecurity firms to conduct an examination to protect employees and residents as well as restore online services.
